gift idea for 1yo niece?

Hi ladies~

My niece's first birthday is coming up- just wondering what your LO's fave toys/books are? She has an 3yo sister so she has a lot of hand me down items but I want her to have something special that's hers. Thanks for any ideas!

    Since she's getting lots of hand-me-down's from her sister, how about something personalized? I have no idea what I'm getting DD2 for her birthday yet, but DD1 LOVED her "My Pal Violet" dog. You can program it to say niece's name, favorite color/food/animal/etc.
