2. Apple has a cough, is teething, and I think has developed an allergy to her formula = very little sleep for me.
3. J is my rock right now.
4. I inquired about 4 different sibling sets from the adoption list last night, we'll see what happens, my inquiries haven't gotten us very far in the past.
5. We've decided to stop fostering. I'm not sure if we just need a break or are done done.
6. I found a good replacement for coffee, Tazo decaf chai tea concentrate mixed with soymilk.
7. I'm going to need a project when the girls leave, maybe a quilt.
8. Our SW keeps trying to give us hope by saying that the girls could come back to us if their Aunt can't handle them but I don't want her to say that, it probably won't happen.
9. I want to make the chocolate cake I saw on Pioneer Woman the other day but I don't want to eat it, I just need to bake.
1. I'm so ready for spring. This snow and cold weather can shove it
2. We're going to visit J's parents for the night and all day tomorrow. I don't mind visiting, but her mom isn't exactly on board with our relationship, so it can be a little stressful.
3. I'm expecting my first pack of wondfos in the mail today. I usually use target's up & up brand of OPKs and really like them, but the wondfos are so much cheaper. I hope I like them.
4. Our anniversary is on Thursday and I'm trying to decide what to cook for our usual anniversary dinner. I know I want to make chicken, but other than that I'm stumped.
5. I got a care package yesterday from my mom (which was lovely!). She included a plastic squeaky toy for my pup, but it was chewed up within 5 minutes of me giving it to her. She was so excited about it and I don't have the heart to tell her it was destroyed already.
6. We had an official meeting with our known donor last week and it went amazing. I'm so glad that we are all on the same page!
7. During the meeting we realized that we don't have a contract yet (duh moment), so I hope to either find one or get one drawn up this week.
8. St. Patrick's Day is in less than two weeks. We're planning our last outing before we begin inseminations and we are extremely excited about it!
9. We made our baby related purchase last weekend. It was only a stuffed animal, but it's something that I kind of want to base the (hopefully, soon to be) nursery off of.
10. I should really mop the floors and do some dishes before I start getting ready and packing, but I have zero motivation...
3. Jelly Bean is STTN in her toddler bed. Now we just have to work on getting her to go to sleep without me in the room. Tips?
Gwen was the same way, she needed me in the room. I started off by just standing where she couldn't see me without sitting up in bed. If she sat up, I'd just ask her to lay back down. It took a bit but she stopped sitting up to see me. After that I moved outside her door, and if she called for me I'd just say, "You're safe, I'm here." from outside the door. After a few days of that, I was able to leave and not have to stand there anymore! Lol. Recently we had a regression (damn sickness and molar induced clingyness), but we're doing the same thing again and its working really well.
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD
1) AF finally showed over the weekend...late but here none the less so back to ttc we go.
2) I keep reading all of these recipes for chocolate cupcakes in my cupcake cookbook but I do not have any cocoa powder....
3) While cleaning out the closets this weekend I found a pack of onsies and a pair of sneakers I need to return. They are way outside of thirty days. I hope the stores take them back, even store credit would work for me!
4) Ky has SO many words. Words I have no idea where she came up with them or heard them. Last night she did something that made me laugh and she said "Ky funny". Then when DW got home she was spinning herself in circles and when she stopped said "dissy".
5) DW is going out to dinner with an old friend tonight after work so I am making Italian veggies with a sundried tomato cream sauce over whole wheat noodles...Ann would not even look at it let alone eat it.
6) Also while DW is gone Ky and I are going to use the foam stickers I got to decorate the foam eggs so I can string them together and make a door hanger.
7) I also want to make an Easter egg wreath. I found directions online that are super simple (except for the home-made bow) and only require eggs, cardboard, easter grass, ribbon, and a glue gun. All of which can be cheaply obtained at the dollar store (I already have a glue gun and cardboard). Now just to find the time to go to the dollar store and make the wreath without a tiny helper.
8) I gave Ky mac and cheese for dinner last night and ate the leftovers for breakfast
9) I am still upset about yesterday's work incident.
1. What is fb/twitter gate? i'm so out of the loop :P
2. Work is crazy. but given the economy and everyone's desire to do more with less, i dont see it getting better any time soon.
3. holy hell. the taco salad i just had was super spicy.
4. still waiting on adoption papers for the kids. I have a feeling the SW might be avoiding me since the last time we spoke i was openly crying on the phone...
5. i cant wait to meet the baby. i think about her 24/7.
1. What is fb/twitter gate? i'm so out of the loop :P
The local boards on the nest/bump have all moved to the new format. In that format there was (still is for the time being) FB and Twitter buttons so that someone could easily "like" a post. While we all know this is an open forum and we can c&p onto FB at anytime, having the buttons there caused all sorts of hell all over this damn site. So anyway, the Nest Gods are removing the buttons but in the meantime several local boards (mine included) decided to GBCB/N and start private boards.

1. We have to fill out the registration for Gwen's daycare program for fall and I'm realizing there's a good chance its the last year she's going there since after that we'll be signing her up for preschool. That makes me a bit sad. She loves her daycare and all her friends there.
2. I'm looking into Montessori schools and a Friend's school for Preschool
options and feeling really nervous/overwhelmed about it all. I want Gwen to love school
and thrive there and I'm worried about making the wrong choice.
3. I feel like our options are really limited by our commutes. Its a little frustrating.
4. I really want to move anyway (I don't like our house), but this makes me want to move even more... to an area with a few more options.
5. What are your toddler's favorite things to eat? I'm trying to make Gwen at least try what we are eating each night, but she's gotten rather picky lately. I know she'll always eat pasta, fruit, chicken nuggets... but I need more ideas!
6. Tonight for Trav & I, I'm making this great spinach salad with parmesan, roasted sliced potatoes, and a lemony dressing... so so good. Gwen loves the roasted sliced potatoes, so at least I know she'll eat that part of the meal!
7. It looks so beautiful out and the sun is nice and warm thought the window... but dang is it cold out today!
8. 68* on Thursday though! I can't wait!
9. Okay, I'm out of things to say... so off to get some lunch.
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD
1. TT - We did the Sleep Lady Shuffle to get the kids to stay in their own beds. We would sit beside their beds (no talking/interacting) and then a few nights later move closer to the door then a few nights later in the door then in the hall. L didn't want to CIO and gating their room and letting them have a free for all wasn't in the cards.
2. JennNicole - Happy Anniversary! Our 9th wedding anniversary is also Thursday and N2A and TWB's 3rd wedding anniversary is Thursday. Who knew March 8 was such a popular anniversary date!?!
3. I can't believe our wedding was 9 years ago. That is crazy.
4. I got my eyebrows done last night. I can't believe how much better they look. Why do I let them go to hell in a handbasket before going and getting them rewaxed? I am horrible about self maintenance (haircuts, pedicures, etc.) I do bathe regularly!
5. I can't believe it was 26 degrees this morning and the high on Thursday is going to be 68. This has been a crazy winter. I don't think the kids had worn hat/mittens more than a handful of times.
6. I just priced out flights to go to TN to see L's family (since we haven't been there in 2y.) $1800 for just the flights (plus we have to rent a car.) Holy hell. And we promised my dad that we would vacation with him at the end of the summer since we vacationed with L's family last summer.Next year, I am not committing myself to anyone's family.
7. The bulbs are blooming outside my office. I can't wait to see what they are going to be!
8. We watched GCB last night. We both kinda liked it - we could totally relate as we are both from the south.
9. It has taken nearly four hours to do this. Work keeps getting in the way.
Butterfly...I'm sending hugs to you and J. The ladies here who are/want to be foster parents are much stronger than I think I could ever be. I have deep admiration for all of you.
1. I got a call from my realtor yesterday afternoon...I got the house!!!
2. OMG I got the house!!!!!
3. Because it's a short sale, the selling bank wants it to close in like 3 weeks. Holy sh!t!
4. The inspection is this Friday morning. I need to tell my new boss that I need to be there...hope that goes ok.
5. I woke up at 4:15 this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. I should have just gotten up and done something productive. Yawn.
6. I told E about the house last night and showed her the pic of the play structure in the backyard. She had the biggest grin ever.
7. I have SO much to do at home in the next month. I need to find some serious focus so I can get it all done.
8. I'm hoping to have some painting done, a few blinds hung and the house and carpets cleaned before we move in. The previous owners left it a little messy since, well, it's a short sale and they're not getting anything out of it.
9. We got snow here this morning! E was SOOOOO excited when she looked outside.
10. My new gf is awesome. She grew up in the south and she is just a super sweet southern girl. She is truly A-MAZ-ING.
1. Best email subject line ever (from S, this morning): "I am somewhat sorry". LOL!
2. Pnut is doing very well tolerating the eye ointment we have to give her for the pink eye. So proud of my little girl!
3. My poor LM is having trouble with daycare drop-offs. The kiddos transitioned to the 2-year-old room last week and so far he hates it.
4. Broken hearts on a daily basis all around. Might be time to play the lottery.
5. I got some really, really sad family news last night from my mom, but S was mad at me so I didn't even get to share it with her.
6. I finally went grocery shopping last night (while S put the kiddos to bed)... for the first time in literally months. I forgot how nice it is to get groceries at a real grocery store and not just Target or Costco.
7. S is going to be overseas for most of the month of March. I'm bracing myself for it, but wondering if I have enough stamina to do it on my own the whole time.
8. Of course it'll be just fine... it just feels like a daunting proposition right now (especially with the other things going on, like getting ready for houseguests who arrive the day after S gets home).
9. T minus 2 days till our 4th wedding anniversary.
10. T minus 3 days till the babies turn TWO! Yowza!

March 8th is our dating anniversary--clearly a very romantic date Happy anniversary!
I watched GCB too--half of my family is in the South and I really like Kristin Chenoweth. I am not sold on it yet, but it has potential.

1. I can't remember how much I've updated ya'll on the latest, so I'll do that here.
2. We've sent in our background checks, financial statements, etc to our social worker. Now we wait for a phone call.
3. We've gone to see the new RE and we really like him! He totally agreed with what I want to do. Now I wait for CD3 for blood work.
4. Last weekend we went to an elementary school production of Willy Wonka and I teared up over and over. SO CUTE!
5. We told my family about TTF/A and they're excited for us (and themselves). Well, just my mom really, she wants to baby-sit and be involved on a daily basis! She's sweet, but... no.
6. My heart goes out to Butterfly and CT. So much love to you both.
1. I'm excited for Seattle and T and anyone else with new house plans! But jealous, very very jealous.
2. The apartment we saw last week was too expensive... think we're going to see another tonight, but I still suspect we're going to end up staying put.
3. My boss is on vacation and I really want her to come back so I have someone to bounce all the chaos off of.
4. I am trying ssoo hard to not let myself think about pregnancy and the possibility of it. Operation do not go crazy.
5. I don't honestly have a good feeling about this cycle, but who knows. There is no good in obsessing over bbt, cm, early signs, ovidrel timing, etc etc. Right?
6. I kind of seriously love diet soda/caffiene.
7. I wish my cycle was regular enough to predict when the next 2ww would be so we could plan a vacation.
8. I emailed the sperm bank a question about donor's supply and am getting irritated that they haven't replied.
9. Several people today have told me I look tired...I dont think this is a good thing.
10. OJ is pretty yummy too, I guess.
TTC with PCOS since July 2011.
IVF Oct/Nov 2012
Beta #1 = 77, Beta #2 = 190, Beta #3 = 1044
Cautiously optimistic.
2. I don't have work today and C took the day off. Mini-weekend. Except, we're both working on other stuff this morning. Maybe we'll do something fun this afternoon.
3. I'm shopping for airfare today...to Cancun!
4. We're going in July for me to speak at a conference (more soon) and celebrate our 7th anniversary.
5. I know I just need to book the flight, but I need to compare a bunch of options (including vacation packages) to makes sure I get the best deal.
6. We're also talking about a possible trip to visit C's mom overseas this year too. That one's more up in the air.
7. I need to re-do my business website. I've been saying that for over a year. Maybe today I'll make some actual progress?
8. I need to eat and clean up the kitchen.
9. I have a bunch of novels I want to read, trouble is picking which one to start with. I may go with my April book club book, just to get it out of the way.
10. I'm excited about Hun.ger Games movie coming out. I watched Win.ter's Bone and really liked it (even though it was very intense).
Met 07/07/05, Wedding 07/07/07, Legal Marriage Ceremony 12/9/12, Baby Boy Born 08/09/13
1. The internet is finally hooked up, so I'm officially "back."
2. After 4 years of living in a dorm room, 1 year of bunking in churches/homeless shelters/etc., and 9 years of living in tiny-to-mediumish apartments, it is AMAZING to be in a house again. The bathroom cabinets feel huge. Everything feels so civilized - having a garage and a coat closet and more than 2 square feet of counter space in the kitchen. We don't have to keep our bikes and tools in the living room!
3. The dogs love the yard. They don't know quite what to do with themselves yet, but they love it.
4. My brother and his girlfriend just left town yesterday, so this is the first day of our "real life" here. Jen has a doctor's appointment and I want to get books and clothes unpacked and squared away.
5. Biggest house project: Finding the perfect couch.
6. I have pretty much decided not to look for work until September. (I was planning to temp until May and then take the summer off.) We both agree that this feels like a really great opportunity to just spend time together and enjoy ourselves and get things settled before the babies come.
7. Our backyard has a raised garden space and I'm already reading a book about gardening so I can start getting things planted. And I found a CSA to join and will split the share with my parents. VEGGIES!
8. I miss my DC friends, but I'll feel better now that I can at least email them.
9. My dad hooked up our washer and dryer yesterday. It was great to learn how to do that from him, rather than (a) pay someone or (b) look it up on Google and hope for the best.
10. I was pretty freaked out the first few days, but I think this is going to be fine.
1. Our first couple nights with both babies home were good, but overwhelming. Not much sleep.
2. The kiddos had f/u appts today. Gabe is up to 5# 7oz and Bella 5# 10 oz. seems small still but that's more than a # from birth and about 1.5 pounds from their lowest (a couple days after birth).
3. I wonder what makes people think they have any right to touch your children. We had them both in carseats attached to the stroller and covered with a blanket, and some people apparently think its okay to come and try to lift the blanket. WTF. I would never do this. It comes offas snarky to say please dont touch them, but I'm I shock that people even try.
4. A girl at the clinic said "wow, twins, is that hard?". Um, yes. It's two babies which means twice the work. Do you think it's hard? Lol. Some people can't even handle one.
5. Mel's mom is so helpful. She's been over a lot cooking, cleaning, and just helping. It's so nice!
6. We haven't had one day of normalcy since they were born, with them both in the hospital, then one still in the hospital, now both home but having doctor appts for them and Mel today. I need some peace an quiet days soon.
7. My FMLA starts 3/20. That day cannot come soon enough. It's hard to be working with them home. My mgr was pissy that I took 8 weeks. Makes me wish I would have taken the full 13. (side note--found out I qualify for FMLA, not just 6 weeks paternity leave).
9. Isabella was really fussy the other night, some the other day and had some spit up and milk out her nose. Last night she slept in her rock and play cuz its at an incline--doc says she has reflux.
10. I'm sorry to hear about the stressors many of you are going thru. We will pray for you.
(this was posted from my phone, ignore the errors please).

So much going on. Leap, glad you are "back" and beginning to settle in a little bit. Butterfly, hugs to you and J, you have provided wonderful homes for Apple and Owl at the time they needed it the most, and that will always stay with them. Seattlekari, squeeeeee! House and GF, sounds great!
1. I had a job interview this morning and the job was just not right. Too junior a position and they couldn't give me a pay range but assured me it was well below my desired range.
2. I've never been in the position before to wait for a job that is the "right fit" or a "good career move". It feels so strange.
3. C and I went out to lunch and she reassured me that my goal needs to be making a good career move, not finding a job. I should probably offload some of the baggage from my ex that tells me I better find a job now or love will be withheld.
4. Sometimes I wonder how I married such a jerk. I often feel life would be easier if my narrative was "I left my husband for a woman." But instead it's "My husband left me because our marriage was a huge mistake."
5. This makes me SO grateful to have C in my life. We really bring out the best in each other.
6. Charting has created more questions than it has answered. C's cycles are irregular, or as irregular as you can judge from two cycles.
7. I'm going to have to reschedule our alternative insemination consult, because we won't have three cycles of charts by our appointment date now.
8. We think we are closing on the sale of our condo on Saturday...except we haven't gotten the final word yet. It'd be nice to know if we have to drive to Michigan on Friday.
9. Closing on the condo is going to be so bittersweet - it's where we fell in love, and such an important place to both of us.
10. I need to remember that the first thing I have to do when we get back to Michigan is bottle the two gallons of cider and one gallon of wine I left behind in secondary fermentation. And collect my vermicompost bin. I'm such a damn hippy.
Same sex couple TTC with donor sperm. I am 35 and carrying. Endometriosis and DOR. AMH 0.5, AFC 5-8, FSH 7ish
1. I'm tired today, and my head kind of hurts in a dull achy sort of a way - I think its allergies.
2. Aside from allergies I love that Spring seems to be here to stay.
3. EV and I have such a packed week, but it's all chores, doctor/midwife appointments, meetings and finals. I almost wish that visiting my folks a couple of weeks ago was a real vacation and not a stress fest.
4. I'm having a hard time picturing life without travel. We usually travel 2-3 times a year, and now I feel very grounded, and somehow ungrounded by it. Sigh. I think I'm having a selfish day.
5. We're meeting with the owner of the house we like again this week - maybe tonight/maybe later in week depending on how our schedules match up. I love the house, the neighborhood, the schools. It's in a dream location. But the house needs work - a ton of work and I get nervous everytime I think about it. I don't know if I'm up for the task. I'm usually super energetic but being preggo has made me lazy and tired ;-) I can't imagine packing to move, moving, painting, renovating the rental unit in the attic - all by June/July. I know it will work out if it's supposed to. So we'll see. And if not this house - then we'll start looking in earnest in October.
6.Lunch time...
7. I have a left over salad from Whole Foods and a frozen Amy's burrito for lunch... But I keep thinking about how I want to leave and go to Starbucks for a double chocolate chip frappaccino.
8. I miss coffee on days like today.
9. I love it that Kaden kicks when I eat banana's He kicks all the time, off and on, but if I eat a banana he just goes crazy.
10. I love love love my midwife, but I'm anxious that the money I'm paying ($500 a month toward her $4200 fee - which is a deal since a hospital birth costs $20K+) won't be paid back to me by either of my insurance companies. With potential plans to move I'm starting to get focused on finances and a lot more.
9. ...I am sure she will be over the house this weekend and during the evenings that I am gone. Hmm...

Hey all, I think it came out wrong. I bet our "Church" - friend WILL WANT TO come over to help and offer to put the Kiddos night-night . Not that I think C will have her over in the evenings.

1. I have activities every night this week and none of it is exciting.

6. I've been stuck on #6 for ages now.
7. My new boss has been here a month now. He's not bad, but I'm still trying to figure out what is just show/talk and what is real.
8. I need a babysitter for tomorrow night and no one is confirming with. Ugh.
9. There are four bottles of wine on my desk. I often wonder if anyone would notice if the stock pile suddenly went down to three.
10. Gonna go work now...no, really, I am. :-p
1. The news about the girls......ugh.

Bloggity Blog - You know you want to...
1. Sad for Butterfly and J. Lots of hugs all around!
2. My known donor got cold feet - I guess TTC#2 is out of the window for now.
3. I love watching Little Bear sleep! He's so beautiful!
4. Holy cr*p - he's going to be 2 in 3 1/2 weeks! I'm unprepared for that!
5. We got a dusting of snow here this morning - oh! I want to play!
6. We are looking at a house that we're interested in buying. But we have several steps to take first! Come on DP!
7. It is a house undergoing foreclosure! It's priced well below market value!
8. I want it! It's 3 bedroom/2 bathroom with a mid sized yard! Please! I hope the housing angels will save that home for us!
9. Enough! I'm going bonkers over it! I need to redshift my priorities!
10. I'm going to begin my research this week (if I don't procrastinate any more!) ...
what is gbcb?
1) AF finally showed over the weekend...late but here none the less so back to ttc we go.
2) I keep reading all of these recipes for chocolate cupcakes in my cupcake cookbook but I do not have any cocoa powder....

10) I really want a chocolate sundae.
6. crap, time for a conference call. gotta go.

Goodbye Cruel Bump
Good Bye Cruel Bump
2. I'm looking into Montessori schools and a Friend's school for Preschool options and feeling really nervous/overwhelmed about it all. I want Gwen to love school and thrive there and I'm worried about making the wrong choice.
-- TSD
Bloggity Blog - You know you want to...
10. Off to find lunch.
She is truly A-MAZ-ING.
yaaaayyyy!!! congrats!!! so much wonderful!

Yowza!
IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)
Peanut and Little Man are getting so big! 2 years old already!
finally blogging again at This Will Be: An Adventure
March 8th is our dating anniversary--clearly a very romantic date
Happy anniversary!
7. I love SMASH.
8. I watch too much TV.
9. I heart Jared Diamond.
10. I read too many books. ;-)
IVF Oct/Nov 2012
Beta #1 = 77, Beta #2 = 190, Beta #3 = 1044
Cautiously optimistic.
1. Sorry for the heartbreak on this board.
8. Mel's Incision wound is getting better, hopefully it's completely healed soon.

IVF #2 - antagonist. Ovulated early. 3 retrieved, 2 fertilized, 0 blasts
9. I love it that Kaden kicks when I eat banana's
He kicks all the time, off and on, but if I eat a banana he just goes crazy.
10. I love love love my midwife, but I'm anxious that the money I'm paying ($500 a month toward her $4200 fee - which is a deal since a hospital birth costs $20K+) won't be paid back to me by either of my insurance companies. With potential plans to move I'm starting to get focused on finances and a lot more.

finally blogging again at This Will Be: An Adventure
Hey all, I think it came out wrong. I bet our "Church" - friend WILL WANT TO come over to help and offer to put the Kiddos night-night . Not that I think C will have her over in the evenings.
