  Ya, you need to get stuff done and you won't get much done having to take care of the babe like that, let your mom take over for the day so you can get your stuff done, that's what grandma's love to do!

  I'd send her. Both the grandmas in my life get a big kick out of snuggling partially sick babies.

  It's not like LO is super icky sick. You know what it's from and it's just a mild fever. NBD or anything to be concerned about in my book.

  If it was daycare or another sitter, I'd say keep him home, but since it's Mom she'd be gone for the day for sure!

  Take him to your mom's. It's common that they get a little fever the day of or after shots (at least what my pediatrician told me).
