So we started Ferber 2 weeks ago but had to give up because LO got a bad cold and was having a hard time breathing at night. Anyway, we hade made it down to one feeding at night but now we are back to 2-3. The problem is that DS keeps sitting up or pulling himself up in the crib. He shares a room with us (we only have a one bedroom apartment) and can see us when he does this. He also has not quit figured out how to lay himself back down and gets upset cause he is tired but hasn't figured out how to get back on his back yet. What do I do? I have been just laying him back down but as you can imagine this happens every 2-3 minutes for an hour or two until he finally falls asleep. Do I just let him cry and keep going to him at intervals even though I know he can't lay himself back down? Anyone else deal with this?

When my LO was going through this, I waited until he was able to sit himself down before doing any sleep training. During the day I would help him learn to sit by gently bending his knees when he was standing and I could tell he was getting frustrated. He caught on pretty quick.
Good luck
