Momma, I'd like you to buy me an iPad please.

Indifferent  So this is what I hear from the back seat after school today.  Apparently there was an iPad for sale at the book sale at school today.  I didn't see that one coming.  I was like, "Um, yeah, I'd like one too, but I don't think that's going to happen."

This stuff sure starts early.

    And all I could think when reading your post was:  "Can you pick one up for me too while you're at it?"

    I'd love to have one!!!

    Sadly my response to things like this is often either "you can ask for it for your birthday or Christmas" or "I can't afford to buy that for you right now" or "You're not quite old enough for that yet.  Maybe when you're older we'll revisit it."

    Sadly his response to "I can't afford that for you right now." is almost always "I have LOTS of money!  I can buy it!"

    We've got to do some work on educating them about money, spending, savings, etc.  My 5 yr old thinks he's mister money bags....

    Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
    Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
