Maternity photos- when?

Hi everyone, I'm 29 weeks, and just scored a great groupon for a local photographer. Think we're going to get a few maternity pics done, but wondering what the best time is to do that. I've heard not to wait too long, so you don't look all puffy and akward, but when is that?

When did you/will you have them done?

    We are doing ours at 36 weeks.

    I haven't scheduled anything yet... (but its my friend who is doing them) but it will most likely be around 35 weeks or so

    I have mine scheduled for 34 weeks!  I'm hoping my belly button stays in until then :)

    Thankfully mine are being done by my cousin/bestie so we did some this past weekend (31 weeks) and will do more as we get closer to LO's arrival!!

    I recommend to all my mamas to get them done between 30-35 weeks.  It depends a lot on your body and how you carry.  Some women haven't really popped until after 30 weeks, and some are super uncomfortable by 35 weeks.    You want to make sure you really have a bump to show off - but a good photographer should know how to pose you to make the belly pop and the rest of you look amazing!

    I'm 37 weeks as of Saturday and we did ours yesterday. I didn't feel puffy, but getting awkward! Still, I think it was a good time for us. A few weeks earlier would have been fine too.

    I did mine at 32 weeks.  I have been on the smaller side...but yet didn't want to want until I was really big (if that's going to happen) and uncomfortable.

    I was supposed to get mine done tonight but DD is sick with the stomach bug and my photographer is going to Cancun for a whole month! So im very  upset right now! :(

    I had mine done at 33 weeks and I'm glad I did because the next week my feet and face started getting really swollen!  They turned out great, and I wasn't too big and miserable like I am now.

    I did mine a few weeks ago because I like the cute small belly look. If you wait too long then its not as flattering in my opinion.

    Just had mine done over the weekend and wished I'd done them a couple weeks earlier like at 28-29 weeks.

    I turned 30 weeks on Friday & had my maternity pictures done the next day. They turned out amazing!!

    The Photographer that I use recommends that maternity photos be done between 28 and 34 weeks.

    We just did them at 35 weeks. I love having the big belly photos (Plus I've been really lucky and never really swelled up through any of my pregnancies)
