  I registered there and returned some stuff that wasn't on my registry.  All I had to do was show my drivers license and they put the amount I was returning on a gift card for me.  As far as I know they don't have any limits, although I did find out with formula you have to have a receipt.

  I've never had a problem returning anything to walmart. The registry acts as your receipt, so if its on your registry its not a problem. I registered at Walmart and BRU. Walmart doesn't have the greatest selection.

  I registered at walmart because my mom and most other family lives in a remote part of idaho and that is pretty much the only thing there. My mom bought us a crib that was defective and we had no problem returning it, so I think they have a good return policy

  I don't know about on the registry, but off the registry you can only return items 3 times a year with your driver's lisence without a receipt.

  I returned a gift from my wedding that wasn't on my registry and was able to receive cash without a receipt. That was almost 2 years ago and I don't know if you can still do that.

  I registered there and haven't had any problems. In fact my In laws are out of state and the site to store was the best!  And I found the exact same crib I wanted from BRU at Walmart for 20$ cheaper! So most of my big ticket items are at Walmart.
