Im pretty sure I know the answer to this but I just want to confirm. I stopped temping religiously and now just once every few days. I also know that you need 3 consistant high temps to confirm O, but like I said - Ive only temp't once in the past 5 days and it was higher today then the ones prior, so Im assuming O either already happened or will any day now.
So after you O - is there still a chance to concieve if you BD the day or two after O? I just want to make sure were not wasting our time here if the O already happened - Id like to get a few more BD's in for good measure ![]()

No. However, it is not a bad idea to BD a day or two after "just in case"---there is always a possibility of error with temping (so many factors invovled), so it doesn't hurt to BD after O.
Since you haven't been temping regularly you don't know that you have ovulated for sure, so I would go for it. Though I would never consider having sex with my husband wasting my time!
I agree with the pp's about the egg only living for about 12 hours and I've read as few as 6. Your highest chances of conceiving are from sex prior to releasing the egg.

Agree w/ PP's who say that the egg is said to last 12-24 hours... however I will add that Planned Parenthood says that the two days after O are "unsafe" days for those TTA. So, mayyyybe. It also depends on what your CM does. If you dry up or get pastey after O, it's not the best swimming environment.
