  I was so shocked when I heard about Davy Jones. He was only 66 - so sad.

  I loved The Monkees. I remember the first time I saw the show was during summer vacation. All of those shows meant summer vacation to me - The Monkees, What's Happenin', Gidget...and then when Nick at Nite came about? OMG, The Patty Duke Show, My Three Sons, Make Room for Daddy...I'm a TV nerd, lol. I just loved those old shows.

  Sorry -  I didn't mean to hijack your post. I did think Davy Jones was such a cutie.

  It was very sad hearing that news....he was such a sweetie and way too young to die. He was the same age as my daddy. R.I.P. Davy

  I saw that at work, it made me sad. I watched the re-runs on summer vacation too. So I told a co-worker, and she said, "I don't get it, like the guy that played him in Pirates of the Carribean??". AAAAAAAAAAAAA! Sigh, she's only 25. She'll never know what she missed.
