i am trying to get DD down to 4 bottles but trying to figure out which bottle to drop. right now we are doing 5 5-6oz bottles a day and 2 solid feedings. can you please share your schedules so i can get an idea of what would work for us? thanksss!
6:30, 10:30, 2:30, 6: 7 oz bottle and solids. We do both at the same time because if not our Eat, play, sleep schedule couldn't happen because he would be set to eat solids at the same time he is set to sleep.
Also, this is based on wakeup time. If he wakes up at 7 we are on 7, 11, 3, 6.
We do his last bottle earlier so that he has plenty of time before bed at 8 to digest (he's a spitter) and he doesn't associate the bottle with falling asleep-works for us.
I would like to hopefully bring down the two middles to 6oz I have a feeling they are going to say at the 9 month check up he is getting too much formula but he drinks every last drop
Very occasionally if he gets the afternoon bottle at 2, he may be looking for another bottle around 5. I try to give him snack at that time to hold him till 6. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't so he gets small bottle.

He gets first bottle about 30 mins after he wakes up. The next comes between 12-1pm, between 5-6, then 9. All bottles are 8oz and he might have solids every other day. We are working on that.
