Babies on the Brain

9 days late, negative urine tests...could I be prego?

I was taking Yaz for about 3 years and stopped taking it this past November. I had regular periods in December and January. Now I am 9 days late with no signs of starting (I can usually tell...cramps, etc.). I have taken several home pregnancy tests, all came back negative. I went to the doctor on Thursday, but my blood test results will not be back until Monday. Just wondering if anyone has been in this situation and if I could be pregnant?? Any help would be appreciated!

    No.

Sorry but your response literally made me laugh.

No advice here. I'm just a useless spectator.

  • Normally, they will tell you to keep testing once a week until one of two things happens.  You either get a pos test, or you hit 90 days with no AF, when you need to call and make an appt with your dr.  Good luck!

  • I stopped taking my BCPs in October of 2010, and my first two cycles were completely regular (for me). 29-30 days, AF would show up around 7pm, the whole 9 yards. Then, my body decided to just take a vacation, because my next AF was 63 days later. I was worried (at first that I was pregnant, and then when I got the negative after POAS, I worried that there was something wrong with me). However, after lurking on these boards, my mind was more at ease because people ask about this situation a lot.

Well, AF did show up that 63rd day, and all is well now.

    Bodies are weird.

  • Thank you everybody! I appreciate the input! =)
  • No one on here can tell you if you are pregnant. If you have taken nine HPTs and they are all negative, you are not pregnant. You don't need a blood test to confirm that.
