another reason why I love "The Godfather"
It's the 40th anniversary of the Godfather. AMC has been running a marathon. I noticed a line from the movie that never stuck out to me before. Well it does now..
The Don is speaking to his godson and it goes like this...
The Godfather: "do you spend time with your family?"
Godson: "yes Godfather..."
The Godfather: "good....because a man who doesn't spend time with his family, can never really be a man."
Love it!

Good movie, good line!
I came to a personal understanding today that visits - kept up, consistant or not - will be just that.....visits. Not easy to take that pill when you understand with the heart and mind of a true parent but it's not as hard as I thought it would be.
We are going to be OK, she is loved more and more by her mama everyday, and I know I have other family and friends that truly love her too!
BTW, leave the gun, take the canoli.
