Twins 1 week old (PIP) doing well!!

Hi everyone!Hope you all are doing well! Just a quick update <: Ethan and Allison, our 34 weekers are doing wonderfully. They have been off CPAP for a few days and breathing well on their own. They are a little hesitant with the bottle but tried them both on the breast yesterday and they "knew what to do" and did very well!! They are calling them feeders/growers, I'm so proud especially of our mini Allison (who had IUGR). They will be transporting them to a NICU closer to us (30 min) away as the Brigham is an hour and 1/2 away. The NICU they are being transferred to is a level 2 (brigham is a level 3). They may be doing this tomorrow, I'm glad that they are doing so well that they can be transferred to a less intensive care NICU!!  Hope to have them home in a few weeks but this will be a lot easier to not have to drive in so much!!The new pic below is them! They are really alert! She cries a ton and gets super fussy about wanting to eat. Hmm maybe because my son was "stealing a lot of her food" inside! haha They are very sweet babies. He is super laid back and she's a little feisty girl!

    They are beautiful! Yea for getting transferred! Hope they are home soon!

    So cute!  Glad to hear they are doing well.  I had my boys at a hospital 2 hours away and we transferred them at 33 weeks.  It was a huge relief to have them closer to home.

    Wonderful news! I've been following your story on both this board and the April 2012 board. Praying that they are freed from the NICU soon.
