My neighbor has there lights and xmas display out already and lite up tonight.

    I can't take it.  To me, it's just a sign of how bad the economy is right now.

    Our town already has the street lamp decorations up on Main St. And last night I saw 2 houses with lights in their yard. We are in WI, so I think people put up things early before it gets too cold and snows. But I don't know why they have to turn them on yet.

    There is family on my street who have their house all decorated up, complete w/ the lit tree in the front window.

    I wanted to gag when I saw that.

    I also want to gag over an area community having their tree lighting parade today.  Ugh!

    One of our neighbors put their lights up last weekend!!  The whole family was outside decorating.  :o/

    I'm usually a lurker; but I have one neighbor who still has Halloween decorations out and the other has Christmas decorations!

    My neighbors put their Christmas decorations up IMMEDIATELY after Halloween.  Pumpkin down, Santa up!  Ugh.

    We have our lights up, but definately not plugged in and turned on! 

    Our neighbor had their lights and weird lawn displays up and turned on yesterday morning.... and afternoon.... and probably all night.

    All of the grocery stores in my area have had up their decorations on the outside parking lot lights for weeks now!

    We put our lights up this week - but we're not turning them on until after thursday. We just knew we wouldn't have the time after Thanksgiving to get them up and we go out of town the following weekend so it was either that or no lights at all,.
