Dr Seuss Theme

We just went a couple days ago for a date night and saw the movie "The Lorax"  I absolutely loved it!! I've always been a Dr Seuss fan.  So... we are planning a Dr Seuss themed shower.  I'm so excited!  Any ideas for decor, invites, games, etc.?

    That's my theme too! Love it. My sister ordered invites from Etsy. The person emails you the proof then you order like you would pics I think...I'll look for the link. Actually just go o etsy and search dr. Seuss there is tons!

    We are not doing a Dr. Seuss theme (but I am a teacher and with his birthday friday - I am all into the Seuss!!!)  Anywho here is a pinterest board with tons of cute ideas for a Dr. Seuss shower!!

    Our local party store had Dr. Suess items out for his birthday last week. They will probably be on clearance soon. You should check out your local store.

    This is the theme for my baby shower as well as the baby's nursery.  Amazon and Etsy are two great sites to get you started on stuff. So much to choose from...

    My SIL had a shower last year and that was her theme as well. I'm a little jealous because now that the lorax movie is out there is so much stuff...It was a little difficult last year! I doubt you will have any trouble finding ideas now! Enjoy!

    Had that theme for one of my LO's birthday parties.  Lots of red, blue, yellow and white.  We went with "Seuss" food.  Green eggs and ham (deviled eggs dyed green...just dip the whites in green water for a couple of minutes), No fork pork (pulled pork to put on buns).  Poodles with noodles (pasta salad).  Wocket in my pocket (brocoli salad in tiny pitas).  Seuss juice (punch).  We had a couple of cakes (one for LO) and cupcakes (white cake with red food coloring in red holders.  We had blue cotton candy on top and every other one said Thing 1 and Thing 2.  There were some other foods but can't remember what they were.  I had a friend design the invites and the thank you cards.  Were able to put my LO's pic on each card with his Dr. Seuss hat on.

    You should have no trouble finding Seuss themed stuff! 

    If I was planning a shower right now, I would go for the "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, New Fish" theme I found.  It's SUPER cute.  It looks like the cover of the book, but the picture for New Fish is a fish pushing a baby carriage with a little baby fish in it!
