Croup question

I took DD to pedi on Friday morning due to her cough. It was croup so the gave her a steriod in office. The doctor said Friday night may still be rough but by should start feeling better and have less of the barky cough on Sat. Well here it is Sunday morning and she's got a horrible cold runny nose, is extremely fussy but does not have the barky sounding cough its more of a broken rattling type cough. She's seems to be more uncomfortable today then she was Friday morning. Will it get better or do you think I should go back to pedi today?

    Yes I would bring her in. Croup with my kids always turned into needing a nebulizer. Hope she feels better.

    My DS has had croup many times.  We always end up with getting a prescription for an oral steriod and using a nebulizer.
