I felt C at 18 weeks and Kyndal, I felt a littlee over 15 weeks... flutters.
I am reading posts saying people feel their babies at 8-11 weeks for the first time. So I want to know what BOTB thinks.
I call bull. At that point it's gas bubbles.
This is what I'm thinking, but I don't want to be the mean ol' meany head that tells 25 people that there is something wrong with them. *sigh* I'll just sit back, eat my popcorn and laugh...
Definitely just gas. But they're first time moms so let them think what they want... I say that while acknowledging that I am also a FTM but I wasn't foolish enough to think burritos made my baby move.

Some of them are 2nd, and 3rd time moms. LOL. I think one is full of bolognia in general.
It wasn't until I was 17/18 weeks along that I felt an actual baby kick. Then I felt super dumb thinking that I felt anything other than gas in the early weeks. No mo, that chipotle you had for lunch had nothing to do with those evening "flutters". Lol
Even though they say you can usually feel the second baby sooner, I'd still think 15 or so weeks is the earliest. Before then, they aren't big enough to make a movement that would be noticeable... Liam is my first and I felt him at 17, but even then it was slight.

Gas. I had bubbles last night I swore were baby kicks...and I'm not pregnant! (well, as far as I know...)
This! Before I was pregnant (I was thinking about trying for #2), I would feel "flutters" and freak out for a second. I'd have to take a step back to remind myself that even if I was pregnant I was not at all able to feel any movement. Maybe it's possible for some, but I think many people miscredit normal digestive fuctions & gas for baby movement.
The moment a child is born,
the mother is also born.
She never existed before.
The woman existed, but the mother, never.
A mother is something absolutely new.
I dunno, the baby is only like an inch long at that point. Seems pretty early to me. I was more towards week 17 when I felt Alexis. I DO think it can depend on many factors- (weight of mother, etc). But I think 10 weeks is still kinda early.
I felt movement at 11 weeks this time, very light of course, but I lost a significant amt of weight during first tri and am having twins. If I hadn't lost the weight and was only having one I don't think I'd have felt it and the movements are still not very consistent,
I look at post like that the same way I look at the hundreds of posts from women who "feel pregnant" 3 dpo and come on here asking if they are pregnant. It's wishful tinking. They want to feel the baby move so bad that they are tricking themselves into "feeling the baby move" way before it's possible.
Vicki I felt for the first time at 16ish weeks. With VonBoy, I felt him at 13w2d. I only remember because it was Christmas Eve. I was leaning forward when I felt him, so my position def had something to do with it. I didn't start feeling movement regularly until 16-17 weeks, and not daily kicks until 19-20 weeks.
I felt Gabriel for the first time between 16/17 weeks but didn't believe it until 18w. I felt this one between 12 and 13 weeks. By no means consistently or anything like the movement now, but the early flutters/bubble feelings - they corresponded to movement on the doppler and u/s so I feel pretty confident saying it was baby. They told me at 13w3d u/s that if I wasn't feeling her yet I certainly would be soon because of how active she was. Consistent/daily/clear movement was more like 15-16 weeks with this one.
8 weeks? No way. 11 weeks and not a first time mom? Maybe. In the end though, there is no convincing people if they believe it, and that's fine.

Dirty lurker here, but I wanted to lend another voice to the "11ish weeks is maybe plausible" camp. I felt baby #2 at 12/13 weeks, if I was sitting still and leaning forward, like over a table or desk. And I was an average weight, so maybe a super skinny chick could feel baby even earlier? 8 weeks would be really ridiculous, though. IDK.
I felt LO at around 15 weeks, and I thought that was really early. I only felt her because I was lying on my stomach.
I do still get phantom movements (and am NOT currently pregnant), so I could see thinking I felt future LO#2 really early, if I still get these feelings when I am pregnant again, in the far off future.
Does the baby even have active arms/legs at 8 weeks??? I didn't feel Gabriel until 22 weeks and he was my second but once I felt him he got on the ball and kicked my butt.
I can't get on board with 11 weeks b/c we had an US then and I saw him moving all crazy and didn't feel a thing. Maybe 13 if you REALLY paying attention or if its twins?

Did she say she was going to say anything to them? No she didn't!!
Get the F off her.

Nope, that's something else brewing at that point.
I still occasionally get what I could swear feel like what the early baby kicks felt like. I'm most definitely not pregnant, though.

Did you get tired of being an asshat over on TTGP or are you just spreading the love here too?
Too early.
I felt my first movement at 15w and had my first visible movement at 17w and I thought that was really, really early.
