Anyone make their own nursing pads?

I see that I can buy reusables on Etsy but wanted to see if anyone made their own and how they turned out?

    I have no sewing skills so Im going to pimp Glad (ArtsyFartsyFooFoo). ?I just got three sets of hers and yesterday was the first day I wore them.....HEAVEN!!! ?No leak throughs and oh so comfortable. ?

    I'm planning to try my hand at it.  I'll probably use an old wool sweater for the inside (felted) and then make a cover of fleece or flannel for the outside.  That way it'll be breathable and easy to get clean.
