I'm curious what your experiences are. She is 4.5 months and still eats every 1-2 hours all day. And by 1-2 hours I mean mostly every hour, maybe once during the day she'll go 2 hours. She wakes every 2-3 hours all night, rarely she will go 4-5 hours at night but only one time. Her normal feeding time is about 20 minutes but she will continue to comfort nurse if she's not distracted, for 45 minutes or longer. This isnt a growth spurt, it's always been this way, if not more frequent. I have discussed with my pedi and he saw no problem as she's growing and gaining well and meeting all her milestones but I'm just wondering if this will ever slow down.

DS nurses 7 times in the day so pretty much every 2 hrs and at least once at night between 8pm and 7am. This is why I started to introduce a little bit of solids because I think he is a big eater. I give him Apple or pear puree at 7pm (maybe 1.5oz) and he is still nursing every 2hrs at night.
About every 3hrs day and night. She's really laid back and would probably go almost 4 during the day, but I stress about her weight so I feed her every 3. At night she sometimes will go 4-5 and a few times she has gone 6.5.
I had to stop at 6 months, but until about 5 months he ate every hour. When he started becoming mobile he started spacing his feedings out a little more, but then my supply tanked and I had to wean.

Until a month or two ago she still ate every 2-3 hours. Now we can go 3-4 she is eating more food and walking so she is not as clingy. I did just slow down recently though.

About every 2-3 hours during the day, and once or twice at night which works out to every 3-5 hours at night. I bet she'll space out a bit when you introduce solids, you usually give them about an hour after BFing, so I bet that will help a bit.
That sounds like DD. She didn't really slow down until about 11 months, though I did do some sleep training around six months to space out the night time feedings.
Pretty much every 3 hours during the day with cluster feeding in the evening. She has started doing a 4.5 hour stretch at the beginning of the night after cluster feeding but then makes up for it by feeding every 2 hours for the rest of the night.
Gin, this sounds just like Q. She would eat probably at least every hour if I was home with her. She still kind of boycotts a bottle while i'm at work so she doesn't eat as often for DH, but when I'm home it's every 45 minutes or so, and it's at least every two hours (usually every hour) at night. She'll be 4 months on the 5th.

N just turned 5 months yesterday and he typically eats every 2-3 hrs aprox 30 minutes, during the day and at night he usually sleeps a 6 hour stretch on average gets up to eat and then does another 3-4 hours and then is up for the day. I follow the whole eat, play, sleep method.

DD still has not given me more than a 5 hour stretch (and that was only one time I got 5 hours). Instead, she eats anywhere from 2-5 times a night.
During the day, ESP if we are out doing something, she'll go 3-4 hours between meals. But, if we're at home, and she's a bit cranky, she's like a maggot on a dead body. Sometimes every 90 minutes, mostly to comfort nurse.

DS is 7 weeks and he gives me 4-5 hr stretches at night most nights, then its every 2 - 3 hours for the rest of the day. Sometimes he'll cluster during the day and want to eat every hour.

Generally every 3 hours during the day (although in the last couple of days she'll go about 4 hours). At night she'll have one feeding about 4-5 hours, then another one 3 hours later. She's growing like a weed - and at her last appt was gaining weight at 1.25 oz. per day - which was great because she went from her weight being in the 10th percentile to the 25th.
She eats every 2.5-3 hrs during the day and STTN...so, anywhere from 7-10 hrs from her last feed at night to her cirst feed in the morning. We are ver lucky! My pedi told me early on to stretch her feedings to every 2 hrs during the day. Have you tried distracting her with something else to stretch out her feeds or is she always screaming in hunger?
