Time for Spring shopping

For some reason my maternity jeans that I was able to wear until I was 7 or 8 months last time are feeling really tight(and yes, I am the same PP size now as I was then Stick out tongue).

So, as I had to order some new jeans for myself I took the opportunity to order DS some, sob, 3T Spring/Summer stuff. 2 pair of shorts, 4 tees, sunglasses and a pair of Crocs.

Not a bad start.

    I am so ready for spring clothes - I was dreaming of my flip flops and sandels this morning as I was walking through the slush and ice and snow from Wednesdays storm.  Loving the extended forecast though.  I have not even looked at the stuff my girls have for the spring/summer.  I typically get them at least a few dresses since they seem to live in them.  My little one should be OK since she is getting everything her big sister outgrew but I have no clue what I have as hand me downs for my older DD.  I was just telling her that we need to go through the bins soon so I can start shopping.  I just bought myself a new pair of capri's and a fun t-shirt but I don't know that I need much this year.

    Digging out the boxes of outgrown summer clothes and seeing what's what. Then I'll have to fill in the gaps. I'll probably do some wholesale Gymboree, the rest from my usual consignment store. The plus to all the girls is that I can do hand me downs.

    DS needs 4T in some stuff.

    You heard me... 4T!!!!!!!

    He's been in 3T since the Fall and it's getting tight.  He has short legs, so the pants are long, but the waists are tight as are the tops. My 35 lb bruiser.  So I'm mostly getting him some t-shirts now. 

    My nephews have passed along shorts and jeans and I'm going to see what else my one SIL has in her basement.  I'm hoping that the only other stuff he'll need are bathing suits since the elastic waists on the hand-me-down ones have disintegrated over the years.

    I bought a few tops at the end of last season but really need bottoms for DD.  Hoping to hit the mall tomorrow.

    J goes through clothes too quickly so I took advantage of a Kohl's sale and bought most of his summer clothes last weekend. 

    PS. I saw the cute pif of Mikey that you posted on FB the other day but haven't been able to go back and comment (the master is home lol).

    we're lucky - our little guy is going through clothes so slowly that I'm certain we've got his first 4 years of clothes sitting in sorted bins in our room right now.  Doesn't mean we still don't do a little shopping (and our families are still buying his stuff to - I'm convinced he's going to Kindergarten in 2T LOL)

    So no (neccassary) shopping for us!
