need some opinions...

Hi :)  So I just got my BFP a couple of days ago and I am so excited!  My husband was away at a conference when I tested and I really did not want to tell him over the phone.  My plan was to tell him tonight when I got home from work.  Problem is he started to feel sick two days ago, and was running fevers/cough/sore throat and so he went to the MD today and is on a z-pack since not sure if viral or bacterial.  He is laying on the other couch and looks like hell bundled up with a fever, chills and upper respiratory infection and can barely move :( ... so my question would be, so would any of you wait to tell him?  or just do it regardless of how horrible he feels at the moment?  Thanks!

    It depends on you....I may wait a day or two until he feels better.  If you tell him while he's so ill...you may not get the reaction you hoped for.

    I'd probably just tell him. I wouldn't want to keep something like that from DH. I'm sure you'll at least make him smile from the exciting news.

    I agree...telling him would probably make him feel better. Plus then he would understand if you kept a bit of distance while he recovers!
