Car seat question

Hi ladies.... I wanted to have a double stroller with the twins coming, so we are (eventually) putting DS1's travel system up for sale on Craigslist. We have already bought the Baby Trend sit and stand double stroller and two infant car seats, though everything is still in its box.

BUT, the car seat model that we got doesn't come with the newborn inserts, to help stabilize their heads. I have no idea why, but some Baby Trend models do, and some don't. I sent an email to the company, but does anyone know of an alternative I can use? Or should I see if it's too late to return our car seats and get a model with the inserts? I don't care if the car seats and stroller don't match, as long as they are compatible...

Please help, I'm in major nesting mode, and this is the kinda thing to keep me up at night these days, eek!!! =)

    We used Graco Snugrides with the Baby Trend DSNG and it worked well. I think the Snugrides are more highly rated than the Baby Trend seats (or at least they were 3 years ago when I was researching) so those might be an option for you.

    We have the sit n stand and the graco infant carseats DO fit that is what we used and we loved it.  Good Luck!
