So I have been buying Vintage Little Tykes pieces for my dd1 dollhouse that she is getting for xmas. I had double of a few and was selling them on ebay becauses they go for a fair amount.
I sold a piece and they just emailed me saying it doesn't look like the same one in the pic and it is broken.
I had 2 and I'm not sure which one I took the pic of. And I'm pretty sure it wasn't broken.
I'm not willing to give her the one I have if the other one is really broken. I know I should refund her. But do I let her keep it or ask for it back? I kind of feel like I'm being taken since I am new at selling.
Re: XP: NER: Ebay question
I had someone try this with me once.
Tell them you want a picture of the item e-mailed to you, and all the pieces back. You will refund the money once the item is back in your hands. That's how most stores do it.
^^^^^ That sound EXACTLY like how it should be handled. Don't settle for anything less. Even tell them that you will refund return shipping once you have the "broken" item.
