...Did you find some of the side effects came back once you were pregnant? I haven't had issues with my Metformin in quite a while, and in the last 4-5 days I've been having some problems again (I assume it's from the Metformin and not from the pregnancy).
Just wondering if anyone else noticed a change!  ![]()
Re: If you were on Metformin...
That's actually my main issue at the moment as well. I assumed it was because of the Metformin because it seems to only be a problem within an hour or so of eating - but maybe you're right and it's just a pregnancy symptom!
Me = lean PCOS;DH = poor morphology (3%)
3 IUI/TI cycles = BFN
IVF #1 with ICSI: antagonist protocol = BFFN
IVF #2 with ICSI : Lupron downregulation = BFFN...FML
IVF #3 with ICSI and AH (Antagonist) = IT'S A BOY!!!!
I am still on Metformin (will be for the entire pregnancy) and I have not had any symptoms come back. For me it is actually the opposite, I was still having some diarrhea issues from my Metformin before I got pregnant, now it just helps to keep me from having the common problem on pregnancy constipation, but it isn't diarrhea.
Thanks!
About the Met - I'm not sure yet. They told me to stay on it for now, and at my first u/s next Tuesday they will discuss it more. When I initially started taking it I was told until the end of first tri, but I'm not IR, so not sure if that will change something!

I had a similar thing happen with me in the first few weeks, but I didn't have that problem before I got pregnant. The diarrhea went away after a few weeks though and now I am lucky if I can go even with taking Iron supplements mixed with stool softener. It's so sad how going number 2 can make me so happy now, lol.
As for metformin, I am currently taking it until it stops working. I did the glucose test with metformin and I was fine. Then they had me take it after stopping metformin and my blood sugars were not normal. So now I have to take my blood sugars daily with a meter and stay on metformin until they see that they can't remain normal. I'm hoping my body just stays within range and I never have to go on insulin. I hate giving myself shots, bleh!
