We bought a house!

Things are finally coming together for our big move down to Texas! DH has been there all week looking at houses and Skyping me as we tour them "together". We found the house we liked and could afford and put in an offer yesterday and it was accepted. Smile It's over near Rowe Lane Elementary school in the Blackhawk area of N Pflugerville. (Where 45 and 130 meet up) The kids and I fly down April 7th. Can't wait to start our new life down in Texas. Smile Hopefully we'll be able to meet some of you for play dates and such. As I've said before, we lived there for 8 months a few years ago so we still have some friends down there, but now that I'm a SAHM I'll need some mom friends with kiddos to play with. Anyway, yay us!

    How exciting! I'm super impressed you bought a home via Skype (well, not BOUGHT it via skype, but you know...). That's in my neck of the woods--you'll love the area!

    Yeah if I hadn't lived in Round Rock before and didn't know anything about the area I probably wouldn't have done it...but I did a LOT of research before he went and then Skyped and it was awesome. I knew you lived over there from a prior post of mine. We almost bought one over by Lake Pflugerville, but it ended up being more than we wanted to afford.

    Congrats!  Hope the move goes smoothly.

    FWIW, we bought our house without *either* of us seeing it.  My parents looked at it 10 times and took 2,000 pics and we went for it.  :)
