right now the boys have bouncy/ rocking chair things they sleep in and hang out in sometime. they stil lhave reflux and spit up issues but it seems to keep them sitting at an angle like they need to be. i keep hearing such good things about the rnp though! would you still go buy 2 if you had something else that sort of works the same?
Re: rnp that much better?

The RnPs are higher so if they sleep next to your bed they are more at your level than really close to the floor.

Ah, I see! And is it unrealistic of me to think my babies will sleep in their cribs? I'm seriously trying to figure this stuff out!

Also, re: difference-- The RnP holds them more securely and at a better angle, IMO. Also, FWIW, our kids hated their bouncers but loved their RnPs. Also, for awake play time, the RnPs are better because they are about at your lap height if you're sitting in a chair/on a couch. Which was useful for me post c/s because getting up and down from the floor would have been a pain.

We had only bouncy seats at first, and the babies slept in their cribs from night one. The bouncy seats were nice because they vibrated, played music, and were a good feeding seat once we introduced solids.
However, once the babies had just gotten too big and squirmy to put them in Boppys on either side of me on the couch after tandem BFing, we bought the RNPs because they're higher up. It was still a bit of a juggling act, but it was better. The babies napped well in them, my little guy slept in one next to our bed on a number of nights when he was congested and needed to sit up a bit, and we loved how portable they were for daytrips to other people's houses. I didn't regret waiting to get them until after we found a need for them, so if you're willing to fork out $100 or so for a pair later on, you could just hold off.
