How is this week going?

QOTD: Do you have a favorite healthy recipe you would like to share?

Re: }i{ Healthy Living Check-In }i{

  • Well, I weigh the same this week as I did 2 weeks ago, so that's good.  I can't seem to get on board with exercising, I have no motivation.  My eating has been decent but it could still use some work.

    QOTD: I love the Coconut Lime Tofu from Vegan Yum Yum!

  • Since AF came this morning, I have eaten a doughnut, a giant eggplant parm sub, a real Coke (with sugar! and caffeine! and chemicals!), and many peppermint patties.  I am drinking an incredibly delicious glass of Bordeaux and I am about to eat pastries.

    I indulge on CD1 because it makes me feel better and because it feels like it suddenly doesn't matter what I eat.  I had a conversation with my therapist this evening about how I need to put less pressure on myself to eat perfectly all the time, particularly in the 2ww (and when I get pregnant, too).  People conceive on diets of McDonald's and Ring Dings -- it is really OK if I don't eat organic kale every day.

    So healthy for me these days might need to be a little less of the nutritionally healthy and a bit more of the mentally healthy.
