I am 24 weeks today and yesterday I started having menstrual-like cramping. It is worse in the morning and fades by mid-to-late morning. Baby is breech (as far as I can feel) and it literally feels like when he kicks, he is kicking my cervix. Its so low it scares the poo out of me. Sneezing/bending over hurts because of the cramping.
I have my 24wk appt Monday but don't know if I should call. Is the cramping normal? No fluid loss/leaking, etc.
Re: Menstrual-like cramping? Normal?
I would call the doc. At about 24 weeks I had a similar thing happen (and nothing really made it feel better - unlike when I had BH). I made a trip to L&D, and they found I was having contractions. I'm usually a wait and see kind of gal, but in this case, I say better safe than sorry!
