friend had her baby girl today! we were all telling her it was going to be a leap day baby! how cool is that!

    Fun! I've heard of some people wanting to avoid a baby born on this day, so hopefully she's not one of them. I think it sounds very fun and novel.

    I was reading an article about leap day babies and it said they made the parents choose Feb. 28 or March 1 for the birth certificate.  I thought that was so wierd--and, how do you choose?

     But very cool for your friend!

    *If* i had to choose, I'd go with the month that had the prettier birthstone.  :)
