NAR- work quips.. Add yours!

Why, oh why, do people Reply All when someone mis-sends an email to a large group? 

I received an email this morning that was sent by accident to 100 managers and directors at my company.  What follows... twenty responses of "why am I recieving this email???" and they copy all!

 

Anyone else have an pet peeves at work?!

    Happens here all of the time too.

    I just screwed up at work today and now my belly hurts. I was sent an email on Feb 7th to port some numbers over from one carrier to another carrier and it was lost in my email. I NEVER did it. Customer is moving today and is freaking out about why the numbers aren't ported and I am just so screwed, even worse, I let my customer down and I feel awful about that. Guess I had Vegas on my mind too much this month. Let's hope we can get this fixed. Keeping my fingers crossed!

    Ugh- I'm my divisions Operations person, so they literally think I know/do/care about everything.  I don't.  I wish I could just flash a "not my problem" sign.

    Update - only cause I feel SOOO much better. :D I was able to fix the mess up and now the customer is happy and I won't get in trouble. YEAH!!! Now I can take a break and go eat lunch.

     Is that the best/worst... recovery from a near miss :)
