    I heard that the community college offers classes.

    YMCAs usually offer classes too.

    Shaler school does it as well. I have a friend who takes her kid there, even though they are out of the district.

    There is a community class through the South Hills YMCA but it was $90 for 6 classes (and program membership). That was a bit steep for me! I wish I could find a pool with open swim hours so DD and I could swim together, without lessons. But all the open swim hours are in the evening, after bedtime.
