Another miscarriage?

I miscarried last fall. I was 9 weeks and started spotting on a Thursday night and had the full miscarriage Saturday night. When I went to the doc Tues. my cervix was closed and it was over. Now I am just 7 weeks pregnant for the second time and I started spotting this past Saturday after sex with my husband. I've spotted every day since and started passing a little bit of tissue this morning and having some light cramping. My spotting has been when I've used the bathroom and wiped and it is bright red.

When I visited the doc on Monday to get my blood levels checked I was told they were at a normal level. But I just feel like something is wrong. My breasts aren't sore anymore and I am scared that I will miscarry again at any time.

Has this happened to anyone else and has the bleeding eventually stopped? I want to believe that I am being paranoid and everything is fine but my gut tells me that I will miscarry again.

    I haven't been through this, but my SIL spotted red throughout all 9 mo of both of her pg... FX things stay normal and the spotting stops

    ((Hugs)) I'm sorry you're going through this. Have you asked your doc for an ultrasound to make sure everything is OK?

    Update: Not an hour after I wrote this, started bleeding heavily. I guess in this case the spotting was a sign of things to come. So heartbroken. I can't believe this is happening twice in a row.

    Oh, no. I am so, so sorry. I hope everything is as quick and painless as possible for you. This is just so unfair. ((hugs))

    It was a rough road, but Arlo Daniel was born April 1, 2013—and our second rainbow is due October 12, 2014.

    I agree with PP who mentioned asking for an u/s.  I don't see why they wouldn't do that to give you peace of mind or else let you know if you are in fact miscarrying.  GL, I'm sorry you're having to go through this.

    So sorry to hear this! I would definitely call the doc and see if they can get you in to confirm. I have had 2 and it's very hard. ((HUGS))

    Depending how sensitive your cervix is you could still be spotting from sex. Take it easy, put yourself on pelvic rest. Drink lots of water, the light cramping could be a result of not enough and not necessarily correlated to the spotting.
