Sleeping through the night and boobs

So I've been thinking about the French article that came out a few days ago, and it says that many French parents have babies sleeping through the night at 3 months. It sounds heavenly at first, but I'm thinking, what about the boobs? If I go ten hours without feeding, I'd wake up from the discomfort and have to either pump or feed the baby. I can't go more than six without some kind of relief.

My dd started sleeping through the night at eight weeks. My boobs got used to it. The first two days were rough though.

If I remember correctly sttn is considered 6-8 hours, not 10-12 but I could be wrong.

When we go to that point, I started pumping before I went to bed. it kept me from getting too full and helped me build a small freezer stash.

My 11 week old is sttn and boobs are sore in the morning but not nearly as uncomfortable as when it first started happening. And I'll take sore boobs for more sleep :-)

Sore boobs wake me up, but if sttn is considered 6+ then that makes sense.

Your boobs will adjust, but the transition is rough. Anna sleeps 12 hours most nights and like pp I pump before I go to bed. I just get an ounce or two, but it helps me make it all night and I need it for days I work. I wake up in the morning really full but not unbearable.
