Yet another follow up with RE today, I guess I should get used to these ultrasounds. I'm on cd 11 and he said uterus lining is in good shape and I have one 15mm follicle on the left, plus a small cyst on that one (great). So this cycle will be a natural one but he said my protocal is already in the computer and set to go for my next cycle which should be mid March, we're signed up for an injectables/ IUI training session next week. Oh joy..
He did mention my amh results again and that they're less than optimal but that we'll just see how this goes. Is a diagnosis of DOR/ low amh always a sign you won't respond to the injectables? I really don't want to throw money out on more than one or two IUI's if we're just better off doing this the natural way.

Good luck with your cycle! I have very low AMH and responded well to the low dose of injectibles (gonal-f) that I was given. For my first IUI- I had two follies over 20 mm (RE did not want more than 2). I am currently in the 2ww and taking crinone nightly.
My RE said he would do up to 3 cycles of IUIs with me (likely I will only agree to 2)- before moving on to IVF.
DOR and AMA
2/12-5/12: 4 IUI cycles = all BFN;
7/12: DE IVF # 1 (with ICSI)- 20R, 16M, 14F, 5DT of 2 blasts; 6 frosties = BFN;
Lupus anticoagulant initially high, then found to be normal on hematology consult;
Follow up testing in September all clear;
Started synthroid for "high normal" TSH;
FET # 1- late October 2012- BFP on FRER; beta # 1- 21(low), beta # 2- 48 (still low), beta # 3- 132, beta # 4- 1,293; beta # 5- 5,606; last beta- over 100,000. First u/s 11/21- heard heartbeat
12/12- Officially an OB patient!
Level 2 ultrasound at 20 weeks shows vasa previa and VCI
Referral to MFM and mandatory c section for delivery
Beautiful baby girl born at 34 weeks
Finally home after 15 day NICU stay!
Trying for sibling: FET # 2- May 2014; beta 5/31, BFN
FET #3, early July 2014; beta 7/14, BFN
DE IVF # 2- August 2014; 14R, 13M, 11F, 5dt of 2 blasts (3 AA), 5 frosties = BFN
FET #4- December 2014, yet another BFN
Dr. KK work up shows borderline uterine blood flow, elevated NK cells, and MTHFR mutation (homozygous for c677t)
Added baby aspirin, prednisone, supplements, Metanx, and intralipids
Switched to large clinic for final attempt; had endometrial receptivity testing in January; FET March 2015 = yet another BFN

Good luck to you as well! Did you have any side effects from the injectibles? I guess that's the only thing making me slightly nervous, I don't even like taking tylenol nevermind this this whole cocktail..
My RE said he'd only cancel if we had over 5 follies! that scares me a little but he said the risk of multiples is still extremely low but that you had to be ok with the idea of twins to move forward with IUI. Hopefully you don't have to even do two, but I agree with you I think that's our cut off as well..

No side effects from the injectibles at all (gonal-f)- that was pretty painless.
The femara (which I took the week before)- gave me headaches- and I don't typically get headaches.

FX that you might not need to move onto injectables!
This is my 2nd cycle on Gonal-F and I've had zero side effects. My RE doesn't check AMH, as they believe AFC is a better indicator of OR, but I'm taking 75 ius of G-F (last month consisted of 8 days of injections CD 3-10) and I responded just fine.
