Haven't been here in a long time but how do you guys get the LO to eat veggies? DD absolutely HATES them. I don't want to force her, but I need some ideas. Any help would be great.
TIA!

I give him the packets of Plum baby food for snacks. He sucks them down. I don't feel so bad if he doesn't eat his veggies at dinner if I know he had a few packs throughout the day.
DD will eat almost anything if it's in tomato sauce. I've also had luck pureeing and telling her it's dip. (Carrots cooked and pureed in OJ is a big hit.) She particularly love hummus; I've successfully added spinach, artichoke and cauliflower to homemade versions of hummus.
Regardless of how I might attempt to hide them, I do continue to offer them frequently and in various forms. I strongly believe the more she seems them the more accepting she will be. I don't fight her or force her to eat them, though. Ultimately she'd always win that fight.
I should just type this and save it someplace because I give the same answer all the time Try making them in a way different from what YOU like. I like steamed veggies and my son think they're hork worthy but he loves roasted veggies with olive oil, garlic and a little grated cheese.
R hates broccoli, but we had chicken broccoli casserole last night, and he ate it up ...I think the trick was that it was covered in alfredo sauce ...so, maybe mix the veggies with something she likes.

This and DD will eat veggies hidden apple sauce too but usually resort to the Plum Packets!
DS loves those packets, especially the sweet potato & apple flavor. DS also loves cooked sweet potatoes (most of the time). My DH cooks them in the microwave and puts some butter on it. Be sure to let it cool thoroughly before serving. When DS is picky, DH added a little cinnamon and honey and DS loved it.
Some days DS will eat green peas, carrots, corn or grean beans. So I bought the mix of the 4 and he eats what he eats. If your LO likes mac n cheese, try cooking (hiding) cauliflower in it.
One of these days I'm sure I'll buy that book about hiding veggies in food... well, apparently, if you google "hiding vegetables (in food)" there's quite a few websites, including one called "the sneaky chef".
Take a chance. Take a risk. Take the initiative. Make your wishes a reality and make your dreams come true!
Try making a smoothie with fruits, yogurt, and spinach (or other veggies). Also you can make fresh juice using fruits and veggies. My kiddo loves both options and gets great micronutrients from the raw fruits and veggies.
My LO loves squash and carrots, but doesn't like to eat her greens as much. I discovered that I can puree them together just like those packets and she eats it. Or, you can puree together with pear, apple, sweet potato, etc.
Re: vegetables
Have you tried beets, sweet potatoes and peas? Those are my LO's favorites. Can you blend with yogurt or hide them in something else?
