Got a favorite "cutesy" character?

I was just thinking about this while browsing online for a dish set for L.  When I was little my brother was a big Snoopy fan so we always had Snoopy-themed dishes, lunch boxes, and so on.  I also remember having a lot of Smurf and Care Bear stuff (yeah, I'm 33).  I know those last two have made a comeback recently and I wouldn't mind getting some for L, but MH has something against those kind of character things.  I did find this adorable set when we were shopping, by the same artist who does Miffy, and they at least got the hubby seal of approval:

So what are your favorite characters or what themed stuff have you been getting for your LO?

  • I love your sig pic. It's so cute!

Those are cute dishes. We need to start getting dishes for DD soon. We have a lady bug and flower theme going already so I will try and find dishes with the same theme.

  • When we were little I was all about looney tunes and casper the friendly ghost!! (I'm 34)  My mom saved most of them so I'll probably use those and try to influence DD to love them too...lol, j/k.  Her theme is pretty hodge podge, with the focus on animals & nature so hopefully I can find some cool stuff in that vein.

LOL, I think you'd be hard pressed to find Casper stuff these days!

  • we don't have a favorite necessarily, but my stepmom went a little crazy at my baby shower and instead of buying paper plates, she bought a stack of baby/toddler plates with the separators.  they range from Disney princesses, to dora & diego, to monkeys, to ABC's... I have 2 of each kind here, and she kept a stack at her house, I plan to bring one or two to each other grandmother's house too.  The rest of her stuff is a hodgepodge of bright colors... which reminds me I need to get her some more spoons... the 2 we have here are not going to cut it now that we're starting solids.
