**Jewerner and Lena** - follow-up to cholestasis

Hi ladies,
Thank you very much for your responses to my questions about cholestasis. I got my lab results back from the bile acid levels - I get my test results online from my clinic and let me tell you, I stalked that website day and night. I checked it so often it moved to the second spot on my phone of most-visited websites...
My results came back like this:
cholic acid: 1.5 (reference range: 3.1 or less)
deoxycholic acid: 1.5 (reference range: 7.3 or less)
chenodeoxycholic acid: 1.5 (reference range: 9.9 or less)
total bile acids: 4.5 (reference range: 4.5 to 19.2)
I checked itchymoms.com to see a sample result for positive cholestasis and saw that the numbers were the same for reference ranges, although the results were much higher than mine. Jewerner - you mentioned one of your levels was 171 or so...was that for one of the tests that I listed above? Otherwise, did you get tested for these same acid levels?
I haven't called my clinic yet to chat about the results. So far, I feel a huge sense of relief because it doesn't seem like I have it. Since the numbers are so low and I was tested about a week after I started itching, I'm not thinking that they would change. If they were close to the high side, I would think that I would need to have it rechecked, but at this point I'm hoping I would have my baby before I would get the results back again! Part of me was thinking I didn't because of the fact that it is so late in my pregnancy. Today is my due date!
