made appointment with OB and freaking out!

My RE hasn't discharged me yet, but he asked me to make an appointment with my OB for a couple weeks from now.  Well I did, and now I'm totally freaking out.  What if the pregnancy doesn't stick, and I somehow jinxed myself by making the appointment.  Tell me this is normal.... Please!!!!!

    It's totally normal and you aren't jinxing anything.  You are being a responsible parent and planning ahead.  GL - I know it's impossible not to worry.

    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!

    I wish we could all realize that there's no such thing as "jinxing it" or karma or whatever so we can stop worrying so much. IF really messes with our heads, doesn't it!

    I keep having that moment of jinxing it. Somebody said to me, when I said I was mad at DH for not thinking positive about the amnio results, he can't change anything by being negative. What is going to happen, will happen. I have decided to be as positive as possible because I did not enjoy the first 8 weeks of my pregnancy. Now, I am enjoying every bit and stopping the worrying because I it doesn't help anything! Not that it works all the time, but it's been better!

    I kind of felt the same way when I scheduled my first OB appt two weeks ago.  Everything was fine though and we were released from RE this past Monday.  OB appt is this coming Monday and I'm really excited about it now!
