Scared about leaving LO to go back to work

My LO has recently become fearful of other people. He only wants me, and does a terrified scream when other people stare at him. I am worried that he will scream the whole time I am at work. Luckily, my mom is going to be with him, and she and I have similar voices and mannerisms. She is also very good with him and patient with his crabbiness. Still, I feel bad for her if he is going to shriek all day.
