2nd Trimester

So Much Movement.

Yesterday morning, I got up with DF to get him ready for work. Since I didn't have class, I decided to try and go back to sleep....and I couldn't. I don't know what happen between last week and this week, but my child is moving like no other and I can feel it VERY distinctly.

When did you all start feeling lots of movement? Is this even normal? Blah, I'm such a worrywart.

  • About 23 weeks is when I really started to feel my LO kick hard. She was so active it would actually wake me up at night. I think it's totally normal.

  • I'm there with ya! Between last week and this week, my LO has developed some super hero strenghth! I can feel her very clearly, even when she flips around. Maybe she'll be a gymnist...I think its normal too. I welcome all her kicks and flips cuz it gives me piece of mind that she is growing and she's doing good in there..

  • Me too!  I've felt him since week 16 but now it is getting more intense!  Eever since I hit week 22 he has been moving and kicking a lot harder. I can definitely feel the thumping from the outside.  My hubby felt him kick the other day! It's so amazing...I love it!

  • Mine has been ridiculously active for a few weeks now. Honestly I don't know how she could possibly be on that 14 hour/day sleeping schedule that TB talks about because I feel like she kicks all day long! Sometimes I wonder if it's normal for her to be as active is she, but I think that it's OK... I can't say that she's ever woken me up, but she can make it somewhat difficult to fall asleep sometimes.

  • I started feeling her around 19wks, but this week she has gotten much more persistent (as to be expected). I can only imagine what it will be like as time goes on.

  • These last two weeks my LO has been very active but it seems like every three days or so LO isn't moving too much. I think those must be growth spurts because my abdomen seems to be sore on those days too. I started to fee movement around 17w and tiny little flutters around 14w. But now they are definitely kicks! Sometimes makes my belly move!
