My mom will be here this weekend for her birthday and I want to surprise her w/ a WW-friendly dessert to celebrate. I've always made her cakes in the past, but that will cost her too many points probably.
Any ideas/websites for yummy, low-point desserts that you can point me to?
It would be great if it's so yummy that all the other non-WW family members can enjoy it too...
TIA!
Re: Wt. Watchers ladies - question about desserts
You can go to the WW website and look through their recipes. I think that's open to non-members.
ETA: Also try www.skinnytaste.com. She puts nutrition info and WW Points Plus info with each recipe.
These are delicious: Strawberry Squares. I've made them several times and they're always a hit.
I also like this apple-pear crumble from the WW site. You can cut down on the butter in the topping for less points. I find it doesn't really need it.
