I don't have an exact age for you, but my son enjoyed "toys" far earlier than I assumed he would. His favourite thing was a maraca without a handle, and it was about the size of an egg. Could not pry that from his fingers for love nor money They enjoy funny things - I'm sure they'll enjoy the snuggle pod!

Babies really start to play with toys around 3 months, especially those attached to their activity mats. The toy you are looking at is probably in the 6-9 month range, but you lo will probably play with it for a long time.
Don't feel bad about buying toys. DD is 17months and it looks like Toys R Us threw up in our house, but she always has something to do and never seems to be bored.

buy it! Seriously, DD is now 3 and she would play with that.
Think of buying toys as investments - DD does play with some (not all) infant type toys, just differently. That baby would be diapered, rocked, etc...
