Just totally struck by...

in Pregnant after a Loss
...how completely crazy it is that we grow human beings in our bellies. I think of it often but was hit with the absurdity of it just now. I know it is totally natural...but still extremely mind blowing.

    I know!  I get so blown away that this is happening sometimes.  It's so weird to me that you grow this baby for 9 months and then it's like you still have to "get to know" them after they are born!  It's also made me look at my mom differently, I guess I realize how truly special it is that I was grown inside her.  Pretty amazing stuff!

    Any time I start acting like a big baby because I am tired or light headed, I just make a joke to DH that "Well, I am growing an entire human being right now..."  He can't complain about doing the dishes in that context.
