 I am looking at possibly wearing a small amount of the ashes as a necklace. I wanted to know for those of you who have done it, how did you do it? We will get her ashes back tomorrow morning and I really want to keep a piece of her with me.  If you have your opinions or any advice on what to do please let me know. Thanks gals you have become a big part of my thoughts and prayers. I hate that we have this one thing in common.

    the funeral home where she was cremated put her ashes in our jewelry for us.
    DS- Brenden born 11/13/93 Missed miscarriage on March 6, 2007 @ 9 weeks D&C on March 8th 2007. Riley Annalise born 2/25/08 ( 3 weeks early weighing 8 lbs 12.8 oz.) Chemical pregnancy 3/2010. Sydney Adriana born sleeping on 9/30/11 weighing 10lbs 3 oz at 38wks 4 days. Trinity Alivia born via c section at 36 wks 4 days weighing 9 lbs. 5.7 oz. She is our amazing rainbow baby!!!     Give it to the funeral parlor and ask them to do it. They told me I could come back at any time and have it done.

     Our baby boy,Logan, was born still at 19w3d on 7/1/2011
    Our 2nd baby boy, Mason, was born still at 20w3d on 1/31/2012

     After a much needed sanity break... we are praying for our rainbows

    Give it to the funeral home. They will do it for you and seal it shut.

    If you want a specific something special you can buy one special made off etsy and take both to the funeral home.  They will seal it and all.

    I did order a necklace for DD#1 for her ashes and we got it from the funeral home. I have ashes leftover from DD#2 that did not fit into her urn and am looking for something to do with them.

    DD #1 passed away in January 2011 at 14 days old due to congenital heart disease
    DD#2 lost in January 2012 at 23 weeks due to anhydramnios caused by a placental abruption

    I just bought a necklace and they sent a funnel so I did it myself. I got a butterfly one.

    I think I have seen that a lot of them come with a funnel so that you can do it yourself.  But if you are not comfortable with that, I'm sure the funeral home would do that for you, even if you didn't purchase it from them.
