Second Tri spotting question **update**

in 2nd Trimester
I had spotting off and on most of my 1st trimester, but have not had any for close to 4 weeks. This morning I had a BM and had quite a bit of pink spotting (It was forsure coming from my vag), now its more brown. I have a call in to my OB and am waiting on a call back. Anyone else have this happen? TIA. Update: my Ob wanted to see me and everything looks good with baby!! I just have to go to the hospital tommorrow for rogham shot. My Ob can't see any cause for the bleeding and it's stopped.

    Im wondering if maybe you pushed a little too hard for the BM? and maybe that cause a little tear/abruption or something similar and thats what caused the bleeding? and now that it is more brown, that means its older blood.

    If it makes you more secure I would call the doctor, but (in my cases) every time I called in about bleeding, they wanted me to go in and get checked out, even if it wasn't a big thing...

    Yes, I had the same thing happen.  My spotting stopped early in the 2nd tri and then a few weeks later I had some after a BM.  It was only when I wiped and I didn't have any brown discharge after.  It was on the same day as a Dr. check-up, so I asked my doctor if I should be concerned that I was still having spotting.  He said if it was very little and I wasn't experiencing cramping that I shouldn't be concerned.

    I had a little spotting last week and went in to see the ob. They ordered an u/s and found a sch over my cervix. It isn't a threat to the baby where it's located, but now I'm on pelvic rest for a month to prevent it from getting bigger. Just when I was getting my sex drive back...

    Hope your spotting is nothing of concern, and best wishes!

    I've had a few spotting incidences too.  The most recent was Monday which was enough to send me to the ER (called doctors office and they said go straight to hospital). 

    The doctor did an internal exam and said my cervix was a bit irritated.  She also explained that during pregnancy there is increased blood flow to the uterus (and surrounding area) because of the baby.  It is not uncommon for some of that to turn into spotting. 

    I was told to only worry if it was bright red and there was lots of it (filling a pad). 

    I know it's easier said than done, but try not to stress yourself out. 

    After 15 cycles and 3 rounds of clomid (50mg) we got our BFP.
