So I had my monthly check up earlier today. Baby girl looked great was munching on her hands during the ultrasound. I came back to work have gone to the bathroom twice since and I have some bright red spotting when I wipe...

Did not have an internal, have not pooped and have not had sex yet this week

Thinks its just my vag being moody today or would you call the ob for spotting?

I would call just to be on the safe side. It could be from a yeast infection or something else minor.

Yes, I would call for sure. I bet everything is ok but better to be safe than sorry and not have to worry about it for the rest of the day/night.

My OB has instructed me to call anytime I have spotting, no matter how minor I think it is.

I would call too but I have a history of that and they have told me every time to call. It's probably nothing but best to be sure. Good Luck!

I had this same problem. I spotted just once at 18w, one tiny little pink drop and my mom and hubby freaked so later that day I was at my Drs. with both of them there... it was a yeast infection which she said is normal because baby changes your pH level and it could eat the mucous plug which would leave baby exposed to the outside. I've had yeast infections before too and I had no other symptoms this time around. So better safe than sorry!!
