He slept until 3, then it took 3 or 4 intervals to fall back asleep. It was only about 35 minutes total, though. He woke up briefly at 6, but must have put himself back to sleep because I didn't get up until 7.
I have high hopes that I might be able to get a full night's sleep tonight! It will be the first time since before Christmas.
Re: Sleep training night two - maybe tonight will be the charm?
we started sleep training last week - by the 3rd night he starting sleeping through the night - it was magic! of course he is sick now and we will have to start all over. good luck!
also - thanks for the feeding advice. i need to remind myself about the portion sizes when i am stressing out!
Sleep training is definitely not a linear process. We still have some nights when M needs help getting back to sleep at 3 am.
Granted, I have totally been spoiled as DS has practically STTN since 6 weeks and has only waken up a handful of times in the middle of the night - usually because he's sick or something but the other night he woke up screaming at 12:30 and I get up at 3 for work so I never went back to bed. For those who do it all the time, I bow to you! I was a zombie all day yesterday.
