DH coming to appointments and u/s?

I have my first prenatal appointment next Tuesday with the nurse practitioner and then by OB said to grab her after and she will due a quick trans-vaginal u/s. DH just asked me if he should come with to that appointment or wait until later on. Just wondering what appointments are you planning to go to on your own and which ones will DH come with you to?

MH is coming to the first appt, when we will hopefully hear the heartbeat, and then when we find out the gender of the baby. I plan on attending all other appts by my self.

Dh will hopefully be coming to all appointments. If you are going to be over 6 weeks at your ultrasound dh might want to be there to see the heartbeat for the first time. Good luck!

My DH will go to all of my appts that I will have a u/s. We want to see the baby together and I want him there just in case something happens and the baby doesn't grow, no hb ect. I don't want to be alone with that news. But he's not going to my nurse appt or reg OB appts.

Thanks! I'll have him come with, his work is very flexible so that's not a problem. He was a little concerned about feeling stupid coming with if it's not a normal thing to come for the first appointment.

i had my first scheduled appt yeaterday and DH did come with me. He won't come to another until we find out the sex, I think.

With my first, DH came to every appt. He wanted to be there and he enjoyed hearing the heartbeat. This time since his work schedule is different he will come to as many as he can.

Anything BIG DH came to... 1st appt, US, and doppler. But other than that I think he might have come to 1-2 others...

My DH came to the U/S when we found out the sex of the baby last time. That was the only one. I assume it will be the same this time as it's harder for him to leave work unless he takes vacation time. Last time I was PG he had no vacation or sick time because he was really sick and ended up having surgery to have his gallbladder removed 3 weeks before I gave birth. It took doctors 3 months to finally diagnose that it was his gallbladder.

My DH may be odd, but he came to all of my appointments last time and will probably do the same this time. He is lucky and has a flexible work schedule though.

MH is for sure coming to the first one, and he'll probably try to come to all the others. His job is kind of far so he'd have to take a 1/2 day at least.

we've already discussed it and my fiance and i have both agreed that anything pertaining to baby both of us need to be there for. he actually enjoys them! he asks lots of questions and gets a goofy grin on his face during the u/s. i love him for coming with, i think it makes it a lot easier on me.

Dh is coming to my first. We hAve an u/s as well. He'll prob come when we find out gender and a few toward the end.

H will be there for the first appointment and then probably just the ones with u/s afterwards. Unless something changes and he wants to come to all of them.

With the twins I was at the OB weekly or biweekly and DH was at every appointment. I might be the vessel, but they're his babies too

If your husband can make it then he should go! My husband is a teacher so it is very difficult for him to take time off from work since he has to call in a sub and he'd have to take sick time. He comes to as many appointments as possible but he was not able to come to the first appointment for my first two pregnancies.

DH says he will be able to take time off work(without losing pay) to go to all of my appointments, so I assume he will come to all of them. He's more excited about meeting the midwife than I am!
