DH and I met with the doctor this morning and basically he said that he still feels it's possible for me to get pregnant with IVF, but that it seems that my ovaries seem to only want to produce 1-2 follicles a cycle. Since their normal procedure is to go to retrieval only with 4 follicles or more, he will adjust that for me and they will let me go to retrieval with the 2 that I have been getting, but he made sure I was clear on the chance that if I go with that few, there is a chance that none will fertilize, but I really do want to take my chances with that, especially since there is always one lead follicle, maybe that one is the one that will be it.
He still wants to continue with the protocol of Follistim, Lupron and low dose HCG and not adjust the levels, that we have been aggressive with the dosages and he doesn't think adjusting them higher will have any significant effect at this point.
He did also bring up the topic of DE as well, but that is not something we are considering at this time. The thing that makes me a little nervous is that in October when we met with him he didn't think we needed to consider that yet, and now he brought it up as a possibility.
I start my next cycle with Estradiol on 3/11 and then based on my previous cycles I would probably(hopefully) be going for retrieval early April. That is getting into a really difficult time at work but what else is new? It's never a good time at work but my boss will just have to deal with it.

Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
