Lurker with a Progesterone Question

Hi Ladies,  I've been lurking on and off for a bit now, and I was wondering if anyone had a similar situation while on progesterone.  (prometrium oral, 100 mg, 2x day)  I was told to take it from ovulation to 14 days after.  If a BFN on day 14, stop taking it.  I'm 11 days after O today, and started my period.  I thought I shouldn't get it while on the progesterone?  Is my dose maybe too low?  I placed a call with the DR. and am waiting a call back.  I have been trying one and off for 14 months, and have a LPD.  This is my first cyle with hormones.  I'm 36, DH is 37.  Any experience with this?

I have also started taking B6 to help with the LPD, but based on the first cycle, no improvements.

    I'm lurking over here too. :) But here's my experience. I took progesterone (Crinone) last month, and I got AF while taking it at 13 dpo. I was also told to take it til 14dpo and then stop if no BFP. I called my OB about it and was told it was fine that some people do get their periods while on progesterone. For me it was at least a big increase in LP. My LP since my m/c had never been more than 9 days. I'm following the same plan this cycle, so we'll see what happens. And just a side note, we're close in age too - DH turns 37 next month and I'll be 36 this summer. :)
